Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Update from JOYO - Panic Buying Welcome !

We would like to re-assure our JOYO customers at this difficult time that we are following all current guidelines & restrictions regarding the Corona virus & that our online business is very much still open, although some deliveries may take a little longer than normal, please do consider this when looking to purchase.

JOYO U.K. is a small independent distributor operating from our own premises, so we are therefore lucky enough to be able to continue to work and offer our usual products and services online albeit with some increasing disruption.

Our courier partner DPD & Royal Mail are also fully operational at the moment, although they are also operating on limited staff and do provide updates on their current postage times.

At this time, it’s very important for you to stay calm, stay groovy & keep supporting your smaller local business and music stores when you can. Whilst all music shops are now closed in the UK, many of them operate great websites where you can order consumables direct. Please do continue to supporting them in every way you can.

If you are in isolation feel free to enjoy a whole lot of videos & demos on our website and look out over the next couple of weeks while we take the time to sort out our stock room and find you lots of great Bargain B stock items from the JOYO UK shelves..

Many thanks for your support, as a small business at these times it means a lot!

I think it is important to stress the roles the public can play in supporting this response everyone can help support the UK’s response by:

  • following public health authorities’ advice, for example on hand washing
  • reducing the impact and spread of misinformation by relying on information from trusted sources, such as that on www.nhs.uk, www.nhsinform.scot, www.publichealth.hscni.net, https://gov.wales/coronavirus-covid-19 and www.gov.uk
  • checking and following the latest FCO travel advice when travelling and planning to travel
  • ensuring you and your family’s vaccinations are up to date as this will help reduce the pressure on the NHS/HSCNI through reducing vaccine-preventable diseases
  • checking on elderly or vulnerable family, friends and neighbours
  • using NHS 111 (or NHS 24 in Scotland or NHS Direct Wales) (including online, where possible), pharmacies and GPs responsibly, and go to the hospital only when you really need to. This is further explained on the NHS website: When to go to A&E and Choose Well Wales
  • being understanding of the pressures the health and social care systems may be under, and receptive to changes that may be needed to the provision of care to you and your family.
  • accepting that the advice for managing COVID-19 for most people will be self-isolation at home and simple over-the-counter medicines
  • checking for new advice as the situation changes

Stay safe, be kind, live long and prosper.
